What does it really mean to be a "Family Business"?

Here at Conner Brothers  Doug, Jean, Kevin and Alan all work in the business.  Jean, Doug's wife, has always worked in the business.  Whether it was keeping the books in the early years or the design and set up of the Human Resource Department, she has been through it all.  Jean is still involved and sometimes can be found in her office located at Grove Road in Midlothian. 

In the recent years, Doug caught the political bug.  He ran for a seat on Richmond's City Council in 2003.  He didn't win that year but in 2005 he did win!  Doug now serves as a councilman for the 9th District in Richmond.  To learn more about Doug and his aspirations for the 9th district and Richmond in general click here. 

Its hard to believe that the "Next Generation" is now running the facilities!  Kevin and Alan, Doug's sons, have been involved in the business for many years.  Alan is the manager of the Midlothian facility and Kevin is the CFO.  Together they team up to tackle the industry challenges of today's collision repairs.
